Ophthalmology: Databases

Ophthalmology

What is a database?

Databases are online indexes that contain references to journal articles, chapters in books and in some cases, conference papers, theses and dissertations. Some databases also include the full text of the articles and other items. Search by keyword, author etc across multiple journals for multiple years. Most academic databases are not freely available so UKZN Library subscribes to a range of subject-specific and multidisciplinary databases. Go to the Library's website, and from the Electronic resources option, choose either the A-Z list or the subject list of databases.

Off campus access is available. You will need to authenticate with your lan username and login. Again, from the Library's website, under the Electronic resources option, click on 'Off campus access' and fill in your details.
