Listening and study facilities
The Music Library offers CD players, LP turntables, cassette players, TV sets, and DVD players in the open space of the library. NOTE you are advised to use head phones.
The listening room is furnished with a TV set, DVD Player and VCR. The study room is only available for music students and staff who must sign in and out for use of this room.

Computers and printers
The public computers are connected to the printer, NOTE you can ONLY print when you have printing credits.
The printing machine is ONLY for printing. Photocopiers are available at the Photocopying room.

Where are we?
Music is offered at Howard College campus, and the Eleanor Bonnar Music Library is located in the Francis Stock Building. Online access to a wide range of resources is available on and off campus.
Whether you need to access the UKZN Library page away from campus see to Off Campus Access you will need to authenticate yourself first with your University lan login and password. Some of the databases are not provided on off campus access. It is best to access the University site via Firefox.

If you wish to access library resources from off campus you will need to authenticate yourself as a UKZN member.
From the top toolbar on the Library's home page, under the Electronic Resources tab is an option called 'off campus access via ezproxy'. Click on that, click on the needed database and a screen will come up asking you for your university login. Once you are recognised by the system you will be able to search and download.
