Music Guide: Journals

A selection of music journals

Access to most journals is now online. The following links will take you to the catalogue record so you can choose the database that contains the time period you need.

• From the Library website click on iCatalogue via WorldCat local.
• Type in the title of the journal (place title in double inverted commas "  ").
• Find the journal in the relevant section of the library.

Our e-Journals are available to registered UKZN students and staff.

• From the Library website click on Electronic Resources, then e-Journals A-Z, or choose 'e-Journals' from the tab options in the middle of the library home page.

• Type in the title of the journal.

• If the journal is available online, access details will be provided showing where the journal appears and the time coverage.

Most databases provide a list of journals included in them.

To find articles, search by topic in:

• Databases
• Google Scholar

All these options are on the Library's home page.

Use Inter Library Loans - there is an office in each campus library who will try to get a copy of teh item for you. Or, ask your subject librarian for help.
