• General basic training in a  range of library products will take place from 6-24 March 2023. The training will include the library catalogue; Google Scholar; Ebscohost; ebooks, Endnote, referencing and my library account.
• Training will take place via zoom.
• The library training programme is advertised in the library, on the University's email notice system; the UKZN Facebook page and via lecturers and the FYE moodle site.

There are lots of Youtubes out there for Endnote 20 and Google is a good place to ask questions. The official Endnote site is endnote.com

Book retrieval and return service

Book Retrieval Service

• Students and staff may submit requests for circulating material (indicated on the Library catalogue)  via email or telephone, using the following generic email addresses: Step-by-step guide
• Users will be requested to place a HOLD on the system for the item (pick-up location will be their home library).
• Library staff will retrieve the item from the shelves and have it ready for collection at the Issue desk. They will communicate the date and time for collection.
• Lending of Academic Reserve items will be restricted to prescribed books only.
• Please search the Library catalogue for an electronic version of the book or consult your Subject librarian.
