If you are attending sessions from off campus make sure you have Global Protect installed.  ALL USERS USING THE UKZN WIRELESS NETWORK MUST HAVE GLOBAL PROTECT INSTALLED

From the library's home page either:

• scroll down to the blue box of links on the page and from the middle column called ONLINE RESOURCES click on DATABASES. This will take you straight to the off campus page list beginning with the icatalogue.
• From the RESOURCES tab on the black toolbar, choose the last option from the drop down menu: OFF CAMPUS ACCESS.

You must be registered and have a UKZN lan login to authenticate yourself for off campus access.

Please contact UKZN Computer Services (ICS) for problems with your LAN username and password, email problems, connectivity issues, etc.

Library material may be renewed as follows:

• In the library at the lending desk
• By telephone @ 033 260 5258 (Pietermaritzburg); 
• Library account, then select My library Account -on the top toolbar of the library homepage.

Note you will have to register for My library account. After clicking on this option, in the box that appears, click on 'Set/reset password' first, then put in your user name (student or staff number) and a password will be emailed to you by the system. This password is unique to your 'My library account'.
