These zoom sessions will focus on training postgraduates and undergraduates in the use of library resources as well as referencing and Endnote.

ScienceDirect

ScienceDirect is the world's leading source for scientific, technical, and medical research. Access journals, books and articles.

You will need to be a registered UKZN student or UKZN staff member to access ScienceDirect.

On the UKZN Library webpage go to RESOURCES, then DATABASES, then DATABASES A-Z, then ScienceDirect.

If you are using ScienceDirect from off campus please download VPN / Global Protect  to your device and activate it.

Another way to use ScienceDirect from off campus is to use the OFF CAMPUS link. Go to RESOURCES, then OFF CAMPUS.

When you use our resources from off campus, the system will prompt you to authenticate yourself (you will be asked for your username and password).
