State capture commission documents

Law Commissions

Many countries have a Law Commission that is tasked with reviewing areas of the law that are problematic. Their reports review the current situation as regards a topic, highlight shortcomings, consider the international situation and make recommendations for changes to the law which may includes a draft bill. The reports are usually referenced.

The South African Law Reform Commission

UKZN library has received most of their reports in print and these are listed in the icatalogue. SALRC also has a website for full text access to their documents.

Law reform commission reports from other countries are accessible via the World Legal Information Institute or Google.
